What Every Mobile Marketer Needs to Consider Before Launch

June 23, 2015 by · Leave a Comment

Before you launch that new campaign, are you considering how your customer might utilize a mobile device versus how they browse on desktop? Desktop display advertising requires careful consideration of time of day, keywords and information about the target demographic. Mobile utilizes some of that data as well , but it can bring your efforts even more granularity.

The intent of a user on mobile is far more important than the intent on desktop. Mobile users, depending on location, may be comparison shopping or looking for the next location to visit.

A mobile user has very different browsing habits than a desktop user, and recognizing those differences will be essential in building successful campaigns.

The Primary Difference Between a Desktop and Mobile User

The primary difference is intent. But it is important to understand more than just what the user wants in a specific instance. One example is how location drives intent. With new hyper-localized mobile marketing technology, advertisers can bid on actual latitude and longitude coordinates to target ads to a more precise audience. Clothing stores can compete by telling customers about hourly sales, while restaurants can present ideas for lunch to entice new visitors.

How a user utilizes mobile can also change behavior. If the user is using Facebook, for instance, she may be hanging out with friends or shopping. The intent is less clear, which makes it harder to bid. That’s one danger with applications, although users tend to utilize apps because they provide a smoother experience. Intent drives every action a user takes on mobile, so considering the state the user is in before you place a bid is key.

Relocating is never an easy choice to make. Even if you’re leaving a town with a poor economy and a bad school system, you’re still moving somewhere you’re unfamiliar with. It’s a big decision that will have a huge effect on you and your family. You can’t be too careful about where you choose to move.

the steel groupSIR5That being said, Chesterfield county real estate is hotter than ever right now for good reason. We’re not just talking about Richmond either, which is located nearby. Over 316,000 people love calling this part of the United States home for good reason.

Obviously, it helps that the economy here is doing well. You have companies like UPS and DuPont with major operations here that employ thousands. Honeywell, General Dynamics, Capital One and Amazon are just a handful more.

The school system here is amazing too and well above grade when compared to others all around the country. If you have children, looking at Chesterfield homes comes with the benefit of knowing that your kids will receive a quality education growing up here.

Lastly, you have to love the pristine natural beauty this part of Virginia has to offer. If you love getting outdoors, there’s really not a bad place to do it in Chesterfield.

Keep Your Computer Cool

Like most of us, you probably don’t go a day without using your computer. It can be hard to imagine what 24 hours would be like without that glow and the click of a keyboard. Unfortunately, a lot of people find out the hard way. They tax their computer too much and eventually it quits working. You may not be aware of just how much heat your machine creates, but the more you ask it to do, the more it goes and goes.

Fortunately, this fear doesn’t have to keep you up at night. With a computer room air conditioner, your machine can get all the cold air it needs to keep on working undisturbed.

This isn’t a brand new idea of course. Every server room has air conditioner units running around the clock to battle all the heat their computers create. Without them, servers would be dropping like flies and all the machines linked to them from across the world.

Now, though, this technology is ready for the home. The cool part (no pun intended) is that these units can be used for normal AC purposes too. So when your computer is under control, it’s a cost effective way to enjoy your home without sweating through it.

Don’t let your computer crash because it can’t stand the heat. Get a portable AC unit instead.

If you’re not the type to embrace high temperatures, then what you need is a collection of industrial cooling units. Fortunately, they’re not hard to find when you shop at MovinCool.
