Your next corporate event with Armenian catering

March 28, 2014 by · Leave a Comment

Are you planning a wedding or corporate event? Do you want to serve delicious and unique food? Consider Armenian catering. Armenian food is one of the tastiest cuisines in the world. It is also one of the healthiest. If your taste buds haven’t had the chance to enjoy this cuisine, you’re in for a treat. We invite you to try some of the classic Armenian foods, all of which can be ordered through catering in Los Angeles.

Cheese Bereg

Although it seems like a dessert, this crispy pasty is often served as an appetizer at most Armenian-catered events and restaurants. Cheese Bereg is made of many layers of thin filo dough stuffed with different types of cheese and baked to a perfect golden brown. You can also order this pastry stuffed with spinach.

Chicken Lula Kebab

Armenians love their kebobs, including one of the most popular kebab dished, the chicken lula kebab. This tasty meal is boneless, skinless chicken breast usually marinated with a special marinate of olive oil, yogurt, and various spices. A good catering company usually has a secret recipe to this marinade, which is why we haven’t listed all of the ingredients here. Chicken Lula is usually served with rice and roasted tomatoes, peppers, and onions.

Fruit Platter

Plain fruit can be a healthy, light, and sweet ending to an Armenian meal. Most Armenian-catered events and restaurants offer a beautiful platter of seasonal fruits, including strawberries, blueberries, melon, watermelon, and grapes. Most fruit platters also come with feta cheese and basil leaves.

The rising trend of frozen yogurts and gelato has been steadily rising the past few years and more and more people have begun to capitalize on this new product. More and more shops have opened up to support the growing demand for the product. This can also be your chance to earn a little more expendable income to your monthly budget. To meet with the growing trend, suppliers have also begun to step up their production of the various tools and equipment required in the production of these frozen desserts, making them much cheaper to purchase for those who are looking into getting into the frozen dairy product game. It is not only the large machinery that is getting cheaper for retailers but ice cream cups and ice cream spoons are also having lower prices. These cheap prices however cannot be found in groceries and supermarkets, but from online shops that specialize selling these supplies. As you purchase more from the shop, the cheaper it is for you. Not only is it more convenient for the seller to not maintain a physical store, but it is also convenient for you as you don’t need to go far to get the things you need; all you have to do is sit down in front of your computer and log on to the internet. It’s also more convenient as these supplies will normally be brought to your home or store front within a reasonable time.  So what are you waiting for, order online now and start making money.

Get More From Your Builds with Better Software

Everyone has a few horror stories when it comes to monitoring a build, but hopefully the majority of them are winners. Still, with so many moving parts, there’s always something you probably could have done better.

While this attitude shouldn’t drive you to regret every move you make managing a build, it’s important you take advantage of current options for seeing more from your results. One example is using certified payroll software, for example. Managing a build isn’t like managing a store. You have a number of people dedicated to the end result and they all get paid varying amounts. Plus, when you’re working on a build, you have things like union fees to calculate. Unless you’re using construction software that helps take this into consideration, mistakes can happen and they can be costly.

That’s not all though. No one should have to manage a build without some serious help. Here, too, is where technology saves the day. Leverage the right software and you’ll always have that all-important bird’s eye view of what’s going on at all times. Nothing will slip through the cracks or get left up to chance—two things that simply can’t happen when you’re in charge of a build.

AIA billing software is the industry leader in software aimed at the construction agency. They’re an easy purchase as no other software has been built with so much care taken to accurately represent and work with the industry.

Working with a Construction Claims Company

March 18, 2014 by · Leave a Comment

Managing a build is always a challenging task, but it’s the only way buildings get made. You have countless balls in the air at any one time between your workers, your customer, your suppliers, the unions, the supplies, even the weather often conspires to make things difficult for you.

So it’s odd that more companies don’t take on the help of a consulting firm. You can delegate all kinds of tasks to them, no matter how difficult. For example, hiring a company to take on construction claims management leaves you free to pursue other important tasks while leaving this complicated and delicate matter for someone else to oversee. A qualified firm can handle everything from construction claim preparation to finishing the process.

But there is more to hiring a firm than that. In fact, you can delegate the entire build to them if you wanted to or just any time you find yourself in a bad way. Instead of letting your schedule eat time because of a tough challenge you’re having a hard time working out, hire a firm to briefly take over the build until the knot is untied. Then you simply handle things when the coast is clear.

There is so much firms can help you with that it would be a shame to have your build struggle when it isn’t necessary.

Lyle Charles has been serving as a construction claims consultant and much more for companies just like yours. No matter what kind of services your construction company would benefit from, this company can happily provide them.

Why You Need Construction Analysis

When it comes to putting up a building, there are almost too many moving parts to count. For this reason, things can quickly move out from under your control where they belong and into an area where costs can pile up and deadlines can get pushed out into the future. Obviously, this is not what you want.

Fortunately, there are a number of methods at your disposal for getting the job done right without issue. However, this doesn’t mean these tools are all the same. It doesn’t mean they’ll all help you, especially when atypical challenges crop up.

One example of this is construction delay claims. They can take a bad situation and make them much worse if you’re not careful. This is why it can help to take on the help of a professional construction consultant company. Another place you might find valuable benefit is with a construction mediation. Here, too, is an example of a challenge that can either be handled correctly so you’re able to move on or become a much greater problem that threatens the entire project.

So when you’re setting out a budget for your next build, be sure to include some capitol for a consulting company that can provide you the analysis you need.

Countless companies have relied on Lyles Charles because the firm provides the invaluable services they need (e.g. construction claim analysis) to bring in their build on time, under budget and to their customer’s satisfaction. If you have a build on the horizon, be sure they’re in your corner.

Safely Launching a Weather Balloon

Weather balloons can be a fun science project, or a serious experiment. People launch all sorts of things into the stratosphere. You can use a weather balloon to launch a product into space, creating a YouTube video in the process. You can also study atmospheric conditions, to determine weather patterns or run other experiments. Launching a balloon safely requires adherence to several FAA restrictions, and careful planning. Here is how you can safely launch yours.

Air Traffic Concerns

By itself, a balloon is almost no danger to anything that may be flying around above you. Still, it’s important to make sure that your balloon complies with FAA standards. You have a limit to the weight in your payload, but you can accomplish this in different ways. You might have five pounds worth of items, like a small camera or something heavier. If this object collided with a plain, you could have a serious problem. You can mount a lighter camera to your payload, or try to disperse your load in other ways.

At the very least, you need a balloon that is big enough to hold the gasses you need to reach the height you want. You also need to decide between helium, which is safer, and hydrogen that is highly flammable. If you choose hydrogen, you should have someone with you that is familiar in handling the gas. You can also add a payload, complete with support arms to balance a camera or a gps datalogger.

Famous Incidents

There are several humorous and fascinating incidents related to people not properly planning for a launch. Don’t be like the people in these examples. Carefully manage your payload weight, and plan for the balloon’s trajectory and landing site.

In the UK, the national weather service has had to pay out close to $40,000 in claims against them. The reason? Payloads are too heavy when they fall from the sky, causing minor damage to cars and windows on the way down.

One incident in the US actually saw a small child climb into a weather balloon. The so called balloon boy stunt ended up being a PR move from the father. Not a smart way to promote a product or an idea. Try launching something you aren’t worried about losing if you decide to experiment.

Area 51

A weather balloon is one of the explanations deemed “most plausible” for describing the incident at Area 51. Whether you believe the theory or not, it’s important that you clearly mark your weather balloon and keep a close eye on the landing site and the path the balloon is travelling.

Final Thoughts

Science experiments can be fun, but you have to be careful if you plan to launch a weather balloon. There is room for errors in judgment on the payload, the launch trajectory, and the materials used. Don’t end up as a famous example of what not to do. Carefully review your launch plans, and enjoy the spectacle safely.

Starting a new business? Learn how you can benefit from hiring a consulting firm.

Starting your own business is an exciting venture. But it can also be extremely overwhelming, especially if it is your first time. Whether you’re launching an internet café business, a restaurant, or a clothing store, it’s important to learn everything there is to know about the industry and type of business you plan to start. While you can certainly spend time on conducting your own research, it’s nearly impossible to get all the facts if you don’t have experience in the field. This is why many start-ups end up hiring consulting firms.

A business consulting firm is an expert in the field, a group of people with experience and knowledge in the field or business you plan to launch. There are many benefits to getting the help of an expert before starting your own business. Here are just a few of the advantages to hiring a business consulting firm.

Expert Advice

When it comes to starting a business, it’s important to get professional advice as opposed to asking your neighbor or family member. Most consulting firms are comprised of individuals who have been working on the field for years. They know inside information about your industry and business and can provide you with unbiased advice, official information, and the latest news.

A professional consulting firm can offer expert advice on nearly every aspect of starting a business, from writing a business plan to leasing your retail space. They can also help you learn more about the industry and answer all of your questions regarding starting a business.

Help With The Details

While advice is very helpful, chances are you will also need assistance with the actual steps that are required to start a company. Fortunately, a consulting firm can also help you with the details. For example, if you’re starting a sweepstakes café, you can talk to a consulting firm about which games and internet sweepstakes machines to purchase. You can talk to them about pricing and how to launch the company without going over your budget. But a consulting firm can provide you with more than advice on starting a business. They can also give you professional advice on running the company.

Hands-On Training

Most consulting firms can also provide hands-on training for the software, hardware, or equipment required to run your new company. If you’re starting an online business, for example, you can find a consulting firm to help you learn how to use the online payment processing software.

Yelp Compelled to Hand Over User Data

Article by Peter Black from Fix Bad Reputation.

Anonymous reviews in Virginia have come under fire, this time from the supreme court. Entries made to the popular review website Yelp are part of continued litigation aimed at unmasking anonymous reviewers. Yelp explicitly bans users from making fake reviews, but that doesn’t seem to matter to restaurants and content creators. Some businesses are finding that faked reviews are a necessary evil to stay competitive.

This landmark case will shape the landscape of online reviews for the foreseeable future. The plaintiff in the case claims that he had to spoof reviews just to stay competitive. He further asserted that Yelp failed to deal with these fakes, a fact the company vehemently disputes. It seems that faked reviews have are part of a growing industry designed around reputation management. This court ruling has the potential to forever alter the landscape of reputation review online.

In an article for the magazine Search Engine Journal, Pierre Zarokian of Submit Express offers some insight into these changes. The question remains: will reviews ever gain back the credibility they have lost? Are the courts relying on outdated case law to make their judgment?
